Invite teammates, assign roles, and keep ownership transferable.

An organization is your team container. Members hold one of four roles, and every role change is re-verified on the server before it applies.

Invite a member

  1. 1

    Open Settings → Organization.

  2. 2

    Enter the teammate's email and pick a role.

  3. 3

    They accept from the invitation email and appear in the member list.

The last owner is protected

The sole owner cannot demote themselves — ownership must be transferred first. This prevents orphaned organizations.

Use case

Onboard a contractor safely

Goal
Give a freelancer exactly the access they need.
Scenario
A designer joins for six weeks and needs workspace access only.

Steps

  2. 2Confirm they appear in the member list with the right role.
  3. 3When the engagement ends, change the role or remove the member.
